Vettukad Bible Krupabhishekam Convention 2024 will be conducted at Madre de Deus Shrine Church, Vettukad (Trivandrum Archdiocese) from Saturday 27 April 2024 to Wednesday 1 May 2024.
The convention is being organised under the auspices of Vettukad Church. An organizing committee consisting of 101 members is working for the successful conduct of the convention with Rev. Dr Faisant M Nayakam, Rev. Dr Edison Y M, and committee members. The convention will be led by Rev Fr Dominic Valanmanal, Director of Marian Retreat Centre, Anakkara. The convention timings are from 3.45 PM to 9.30 PM.
The convention will commence at 3:45 pm on 27 April 2024 with Rosary. Rev Dr. Thomas JNetto, Arch Bishop of Trivandrum Archdiocese will inaugurate the convention. He will also celebrate the Holy Mass and give his inaugural message.
Rev Dr Samuel Mar Ireneos, Bishop of Pathanamthitta Diocese, Rev Dr Christudas, R. Auxiliary Bishop of Thiruvananthapuram Archdiocese, and Rev Dr Soosa Pakiam Archbishop Emeritus of Thiruvananthapuram Archdiocese, will celebrate Holy Mass and deliver gospel message on the following days at 4.15 pm.
From 6.00 pm onwards Rev Fr Dominic Valanmanal will lead the convention with Preaching of the Word, Krupabhishekam ministry, Deliverance session, and Eucharistic Adoration. Special arrangements are being made for confession and spiritual sharing during the convention days.
People from Trivandrum Archdiocese as well as parishes of Syro Malankara and Syro Malabar Rites in and around Thiruvananthapuram are expected to attend the convention in large numbers. Facilities are in place for accommodating 60000 plus faithful in the spacious convention ground and Madre de Deus Church, Vettukad during the convention. Special arrangements are made for the convenience of the sick. The committee had also arranged transportation facilities to different destinations after the convention.
