Under the auspices of the Kanjirappally Diocese, preparations have been completed for the Krupabhishekam Bible Convention to be held from Wednesday, December 10 to Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM each day at St. George Forane Church, Kattappana.
The convention, organized in preparation for Christmas celebrating the birth of Infant Jesus, is expected to witness the participation of more than ten thousand faithful from various parts of the diocese. The Bible Convention will be led by the internationally renowned Bible preacher and deliverance minister, Rev. Fr. Dominic Valanmanal.
The convention will begin on Wednesday, December 10, at 4:00 PM with the Rosary. At 4:30 PM, a solemn Holy Mass will be celebrated with His Excellency Mar Jose Pulickal, Bishop of Kanjirappally Diocese, as the main celebrant, assisted by Rev. Fr. Mathew Kallarackal and Rev. Fr. Dominic Kanjirathinal. Following this, the Bishop will enthrone the Bible and light the ceremonial lamp, officially inaugurating the convention. Thereafter, Rev. Fr. Dominic Valanmanal, Director of the Anakkara Marian Retreat Centre, will lead the Word proclamation, Divine Mercy adoration, and deliverance ministry.
Special arrangements have been made for confession and spiritual sharing on all days of the convention. A 301-member organizing committee has been formed to coordinate the event. Faithful from various parishes of the Kanjirappally Diocese and surrounding regions including Kumily, Thopramkudi, Idukki, Cheruthoni, Nedumkandam, Iratayar, Upputhara, Valiyathovala, Vazhavarai, and Kuttikkanam—belonging to Latin, Syro-Malabar, and Malankara rites—are expected to participate.
