First Saturday Krubabhishekam Bible Convention – A Day of Blessings Amidst the Feasts of Guardian Angels, Our Lady of the Rosary, and St. Faustina (October 5th, 2024)
The First Saturday Krubabhishekam Bible Convention for October 2024 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 5th, at the Marian Retreat Centre, Anakkara. The day will begin with preparatory prayers in the early morning, followed by the Stations of the Cross and the Rosary.
Rev. Fr. Dominic Valanmanal will lead the Convention from 9 am to 3 pm. The event will start with the preaching of the Word of God, followed by Eucharistic Adoration and a powerful deliverance service. Afterward, there will be a Eucharistic procession, a sacred time of tremendous blessings, as heaven showers grace upon us in the true Presence of Jesus. The day will conclude with the celebration of the Holy Mass by Rev. Fr. Dominic Valanmanal, after which he will offer personal blessings and prayers for all attendees. There will also be special prayers and blessings for the infirm and suffering after 5 pm.
This convention occurs during a spiritually significant week in the Catholic Church. On October 2nd, we celebrated the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels, recognizing the protection and guidance of the angels assigned to each of us by God. Additionally, on October 7th, the Church celebrates the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, a powerful reminder of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s intercession.
In this blessed week, we also celebrate the Feast of St. Faustina Kowalska on October 5th, the day of the convention itself. St. Faustina is known as the Apostle of Divine Mercy, whose revelations from Jesus gave us the Divine Mercy devotion, emphasizing God’s boundless love and mercy. On this special feast, we ask for her intercession, that we may open our hearts to the mercy of God and receive the healing and transformation He desires for us.
With these three great feasts in mind, this First Saturday convention on October 5th, 2024, is expected to be a day of immense spiritual blessings. Many faithful are already prayerfully anticipating this grace-filled event. We extend a warm invitation to all of you, accompanied by our prayers, to join us in this holy gathering. May the angels, Our Lady of the Rosary, and St. Faustina bless and intercede for us all.
