Grace Unfolds at Pulluvila: 3rd Krupabhishekam Bible Convention from April 8–12, 2025  Led by Rev. Fr. Dominic Valanmanal

Under the maternal protection of Our Blessed Mother and in preparation for the Holy Week, the 3rd Pulluvila Forane Bible Convention – Krupabhishekam will be held from April 8 to April 12, 2025 at the scenic Pulluvila Beach, under the auspices of the Pulluvila Forane Church, part of the Thiruvananthapuram Latin Archdiocese. The Convention will take place daily from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., welcoming the faithful into a profound experience of grace, healing, and renewal. The convention, expected to draw nearly two lakh pilgrims, marks a time of intense spiritual preparation, focusing on the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are blessed to announce that Rev. Fr. Dominic Valanmanal, renowned international preacher and exorcist from the Marian Retreat Centre, Anakkara, will lead the convention. Each day will begin with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 4:00 p.m., followed by the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 4:30 p.m., after which Rev. Fr. Dominic will preach the Word of God, guiding the faithful into Eucharistic Adoration and Deliverance prayers.

The inaugural day, April 8, 2025, will be graced by the presence of Most Rev. Dr. Soosaipakiam, Archbishop Emeritus of Thiruvananthapuram Archdiocese, who will celebrate the Holy Mass and deliver the inaugural message. A solemn Consecration of the Holy Bible will be held at the convention venue, setting the spiritual tone for the days ahead.

The concluding day, April 12, 2025, will witness Most Rev. Dr. Christhudas, Auxiliary Bishop of Thiruvananthapuram Archdiocese, celebrating the Holy Mass and offering the valedictory blessing to the assembly.

Confession facilities will be available on convention days, allowing the faithful to encounter God’s infinite mercy. Special provisions for spiritual sharing have also been arranged.

An organising committee comprising 301 members has been formed to ensure the smooth and prayerful conduct of the event. Elaborate preparations are underway to accommodate the vast number of pilgrims from across the Archdiocese — from parishes in Thiruvananthapuram City, Vizhinjam, Kovalam, Poovar, and Vettukad, and also from the Syro-Malabar and Syro-Malankara communities.

Special seating arrangements and facilities are being thoughtfully prepared for the sick and infirm who wish to attend and receive blessings.

Rev. Fr. Daison Yeshudas (General Convenor), Fr. Antony S.B. (Vicar and Convenor), Fr. Densin Joosa (Coordinator), and Mrs. Sharlet Mary (Forane Charismatic Coordinator) have confirmed that security arrangements and traffic control are being coordinated with the support of the City Police Commissioner of Thiruvananthapuram, ensuring a safe and peaceful environment for all participants.Let us gather as one family of faith, under the mantle of Our Lady, to receive a fresh outpouring of Grace at Krupabhishekam 2025 — a true preparation of heart for the Paschal Mysteries!

“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
